There are a variety of methods that can be adopted when making jerky. Here are three of the most common:

  1. Smoking - Great for adding that delicious smoked taste and smell, smoking the meat adds a flavor like no other.
  1. Dehydrating - a common method for crafting delicious jerky, dehydrating slowly removes moisture from the meat while allowing it to retain all the flavor.
  1. Grilling - grilling can be a great alternative, and can offer a great smoked flavor combined with the convenience of your favorite grill.
